Think about brain development, cognitive development, and social development in adolescence.  
We know that the success of programs geared to preventing teen pregnancy, drug use, school dropout, etc. is not great. In a paragraph (5-7 sentences), describe why this lack of success may occur (again, think about brain development, cognitive development, and social development in adolescence). 
Then, in another paragraph or two, describe what might make these programs more successful.  In other words, what should be said, done, when, etc.? Remember, you answer should be based on facts about brain changes and cognitive and social development in adolescence.  You may design a great program, but if it doesn’t match the adolescent where they are (personal fable, etc.) it will not meet the criteria of this assignment (or be successful).
