Background
Identifying current and relevant research related to a specific area of practice is an essential social work practice skill.  The graphic below and short video under Additional Resources provide additional information about why Evidence Based Practice (EBP) is so important in social work practice. 
Instructions
For the social issue in your community that you have identified, begin to research best practices in policies and programs to address this issue by identifying 6 research articles.  These research articles should be current (within the last 5 years) and at least 3 of the 6 articles must be specific to social work practice. Compare and contrast the findings in the template provided.
