This will be an essay in which the student examines one of the Creation or Destruction myths discussed in class.  The essay should focus on one lesson or application of the myth.  This may be how a particular creation myth reinforced cultural values, taught personal moral lessons, or established certain rituals. Alternatively, the essay may compare two Creation or Destruction myths.  Again, high quality essays will not only describe the myth, but also show the significance of the lesson or comparison focused on in the essay.
