Your final paper should be a 2500-word-long fully—fledged research paper. A research paper is a piece of academic writing that contains a clear and relevant point supported by independent analysis, interpretation, and valid arguments. It is intended to help me assess not only your writing skills, but also your skill of scholarly research and logical argumentation. You are expected to demonstrate your solid knowledge of the chosen topic, your ability to work with and critically evaluate primary and/or secondary sources, and your capacity to make an original contribution to the academic debate by proposing your unique and non-trivial take on the discussed matter.
