The Research Project for this class will be to prepare a research paper explaining how to source rubber (Supply) which will be used in the manufacturing of the shoes for your company who operates in China. Be sure to explain the entire sourcing and qualification process necessary in developing the entire Supply Chain. Explain the key factors involved and how they will impact your operations (Logistics). Identify all companies you will be considering as vendors and explain why their selection (Integration). Provide at least 2 suggested changes / improvements to the supply chain structure that you will enact as the new supervisor to improve the company’s competitive position and the benefit that will be gained from these improvements.
To help in reaching your goal of completing this Project, this course is centered around your Project with all Assignments and Discussions working toward completion of the Project and at the same time ensuring all Student Learning Outcomes are covered. This project will assist you in identifying possible deficiencies and thinking from a management/ leadership mindset.
